2021 Wing Stock Risers
Here are a few wings that helped boost their stock this spring on the travel team circuit.
John Poulakidas (Neuqua Valley)
This 6’5” lefty small forward jumped on our radar with his play for Young & Reckless during the spring. He has length and can flat out shoot it from three. Knock down shooter that can hit it off the catch. Smooth looking jumper and has some sneaky athleticism to his game.
Bryce Hopkins (Fenwick)
Hopkins didn’t see a ton of playing time on a talented Fenwick team as a freshman, but he is making up for it this spring with the Illinois Wolves. The 6’5” wing plays with strength being able to take a bump at the cup as well as shoot it from three.
Jaiden Lee (Joliet West)
Lee absolutely lit up the Show Me Showdown to go from unknown to a top 15 prospect. The lengthy shooter is an elite perimeter sniper that drills threes for days! Clean looking stroke that is consistently accurate.
Landon Zurliene (Fairfield)
Zurliene was quite an impressive guard to watch from Fairfield at the Southern Illinois Underclassmen workout. Solid size at 6’2” for the guard position. Crisp ball handler that can really shoot the basketball. He is a plus scorer that is best shooting the rock, but also showed some stuff off the dribble.
