2018 Isaiah Wilkins Breaks Down Decision To Commit To Virginia Tech
Virginia Tech made a late splash to their 2018 recruiting class on Monday night by adding 6’4 Isaiah Wilkins of Mount Tabor High School and Team CP3. Wilkins was originally in the 2019 class but has reclassified and will be on the Hokies roster this upcoming season. Wilkins is a big guard that can score in a variety of ways. He does a good job of getting his teammates involved and he can rebound on both sides of the ball.
He broke down his decision on why he chose Virginia Tech, “I feel like they want to help me get to that next level, they like my body, they fit my playing style and they make me feel at home.
He thinks he is going to be a great fit for their system, “I can shoot the ball well which is perfect for their system. They do a lot of passing, cutting and you just have to be a good decision maker so I feel like I am going to fit perfectly.”
When asked what Virginia Tech fans can expect out of him, he said, “They can expect a strong defensive edge and just the will to win.”
