Triad First 48- Team Rybak
Calvary Day 2019 Guard Jackson Gammons: He’s played alongside 3 of the top 15 prospects in the state and it seems that he learned quite a bit with those guys as well as spending a nice amount of time in the weight room. He showed a quick first step, the ability to knock down the deep ball and nice court vision, all the things that make you understand why he has picked up the amount of D1 interest and offers that he already has.
Northwest Guilford 2020 Guard Christian Hampton: A player that has a very high IQ for the game, he made good reads and good plays at a high rate. Anytime you see a player that seems like he loves to compete, you have to not only respect it but be intrigued as we know that competition is the key to winning games.
Calvary Day 2019 Cliff Harris: There is a lot to like about this youngster, he can score the ball, plays the game with a nice amount of energy, and gives effort on the defensive end of the floor. Already has a scholarship offer from Bluefield College.
Mount Airy 2019 Gregory Greene: One of the players that we saw that didn’t take a play off, he is constantly putting pressure on his opponent and playing the passing lanes. On the offensive end he made plays on and off the ball, rebounded it well for a guard and showed that he can knock down shots.
Bishop McGuinness 2020 Guard Jake Ledbetter: Another player that was impressive throughout the day, his ability to shoot the ball and play the SG was already know but he showed that he can play on the ball as well at the PG spot. He made plays for himself and others, showed a nice IQ for the game and didn’t seem to get rushed at any point in time.
Greensboro Day 2019 Forward Nicholas Evtimov: This was my first time getting a really good look at him play and I was very impressed. He banged inside the paint for buckets and rebounds, knocked down some shots from deep and showed a very impressive passing ability. When you factor in that he’s a legit 6’5-6’6 then you have to be impressed with what he brings to the table.
Northwest Guilford 2021 Forward Noah Allred: Nice size and upside for this youngster, he’s 6’7 with a lot of the tools that you want from a big. He showed he can step out and shoot it, set solid screen and made good reads when choosing whether to dive to the hoop, or pick and pop.
