Triad First 48 Standouts: Team Cooper
Bishop McGuiness 2020 Wing Andrew Budzinski: A player that doesn’t mind doing the dirty work but that can also put the ball in the bucket. He ran the floor, blocked shots, rebounded it at a high rate all while knocking down shots to keep the defense honest.
Southwest Guilford 2019 Guard Christian Martin: Another player that seemed to do everything that his team needed, he plays the game in a physical manner. He ran the floor, rebounded it at a nice level, as well as fighting for positioning in and outside the post.
Southern Guilford 2019 Guard Julius Burch: A lot to like about what he brings to the table and what he could possibly bring to a team at the next level. At a legit 6’4 with a nice skillset you can play him on the wing but also put him at the PG spot from time to time. He made plays for himself and other and gave defenders problems just about all game long.
High Point Christian 2021 Guard KJ Garrett: He has one of the highest IQ’s for a guard that you will see at such a young age. His mindset is to get other involved first even though he is more than capable of scoring the ball at a high level, one of the nicest young men you will meet and we believe that he has a very bright future.
High Point Christian 2020 Guard Landon Sutton: Was constantly on the attack for his team, although he could score the ball at a very high rate he didn’t just settle for three point shots. Nice upside, one to keep an eye on over the next few months as he could raise his stock in a nice way.
Piedmont Classic 2020 Guard Shakeel Moore: I’m sure by now you’ve seen the crazy dunks that he throws down but he’s more than just a dunker. He can get up and down the court in a hurry, plays unselfish and doesn’t mind getting after it on the defensive end of the court.
Bishop McGuinness 2021 6’6 Forward/Center Thomas Markun: He has very nice versatility, he’s a legit 6’6 with the ability to knock down shots so he is another one that can slide to the SF spot or be a stretch forward. He also showed us that he can be solid on the boards when he crashes, overall nice looking prospect, especially to be so young,
Southern Guilford 2019 Wing Tyler Dearman: Brings a scorers type of mentality when he is on the floor, he can shoot the ball from deep and does a nice job of constantly moving which makes him a tiring player to try and guard.
High Point Christian 2020 Forward Zach Shutmate: There is a lot to like about him, and if he continues to work on his strength when finishing in the paint, he has a chance to be very successful. At 6’7 with a pretty solid frame, he plays inside and out, making him a dangerous player when he’s put in pick and roll situations
