Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the top stock risers in Kansas City this offseason.

Kamto Eze, 6’8, F, 2019, Grandview

Eze is an athletic center who can grab a defensive rebound and take it coast-to-coast. He has terrific speed in the paint and the energy to play at a high level throughout the game. Eze can push defenders out of play as he backs his way to the basket and finish above the rim. He’s also good at protecting the rim on defense and causing trouble on the block.

Darrius Hughes, 6’8, F, 2019, Rockhurst

Hughes is a transition finisher you can’t take your eyes off. He runs the floor well and can throw down a one-handed jam with players around him. He’s a versatile player, able to punish players on the block and stretch the floor from behind the 3-point line.

Jaylon McDaniel, 6’8, F, 2021, Blue Springs South

One of Missouri’s top young prospects, McDaniel combines a terrific basketball frame, size, athleticism with an emerging skill set. He has the ability to play above the rim at both ends of the floor, but also has the ability to run the floor well, face the goal and attack from the mid range or the perimeter and has an improving outside shot as well.

Mike Peake, 6’7, F, 2020, Northeast

Peake might be one of the KC area’s biggest risers this offseason as he combines a well-rounded skill set with size and elite athleticism. He has improved his ball handling, shooting and perimeter, and combines those skills with a strong post game and the ability to score in the paint.

AJ White, 6’5, F, 2019, Rockhurst

White is a tenacious player who will not take no for an answer. He fights for everything he can get his hand on and can finish jump hooks and layups while completely surrounded. He just doesn’t quit. He rebounds, defends and can block shots at a high level. White a dominating player who seems to look better the more he plays.
