Recruiting Report: Trey Alexander (2021)
The top freshmen in Oklahoma last year, Trey Alexander is off to a great start on the grassroots circuit with his father’s program AET. This year AET has participated in the Adidas Circuit. Alexander proved his worth this past high school season leading Heritage Hall as a freshman to the Class 4A State Championship.
He has all of the tools in his game to be a High Major recruit in the 2021 Class. Oklahoma State has already offered the talented young man. The best parts of his game is his ability to score, playing in transition, and leadership skills. Over this summer Alexander is working on pulling up for a jumper off the dribble.
Alexander has high goals for this summer with AET.
“My goals for this summer are for me to just improve my game,” said Alexander. “I want to win an AAU National Championship.”
Although it will be quite some time before Alexander makes his decision as he peaks towards it he has a good idea of some of the key things he will be looking for in college.
“I am looking for a coach that will help me get to the next level and help improve my game,” said Alexander.
The length of Alexander standing about 6’5 and still growing makes him so tough to defend. He has a smoothness about his game that catches the eye. Alexander is a name for Oklahomans to know over the next three years of high school. Don’t be surprised if at some point Prep Schools come calling for Alexander’s talents.
