Tyrese Hunt-Thompson is having a solid spring and turning the heads of some college coaches. He attends Cassopolis High School and is playing for OWE Hoops. Hunt-Thompson is a guard in the class of 2019. He has put together some impressive performances so far this spring.  Recently, Hunt-Thompson had 23 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals in a game at the Memorial Day Run-N-Slam.

Hunt-Thompson carries an impressive skill set. He has the ability to score at all three levels. Hunt-Thompson can create scoring opportunities for himself off the dribble. When driving to the hoop he can finish at the rim or pull up for a mid range jumper. Hunt-Thompson is a dangerous shooter from deep, especially when shooting off the catch. He’s a competitive athlete who is willing to simply outwork his opponent. Hunt-Thompson also takes pride in his ability to make his teammates better. He is continuously working to make his defense another strength in his game.

Tyrese Hunt-Thompson is a game changing player. He has put up 37 points in a championship and has electrified crowds with dunks. Hunt-Thompson plays every game and tournament like it’s the most important event he’s ever played in. He is currently using AAU season as a chance to continue to improve all aspects of his game.

Hunt-Thompson has the potential for a bright future in college athletics. He is also a star football player and is receiving interest from multiple schools in both sports. Hunt-Thompson hasn’t received any offers yet, but as he continues to improve and showcase his skills, they should be coming in due time. He brings a lot to the table for a college basketball program. Hunt-Thompson can provide a relentless athlete who is a natural scorer.

Tyrese Hunt-Thompson is a driven athlete and basketball player. He wants to go to college and play at the next level. Hunt-Thompson is a motivated young man. “Greatest motivation to achieve my goals is my uncle who died when I was a kid, my mom, and my sister,” he said. Tyrese Hunt-Thompson is a basketball prospect that fans and college coaches should keep an eye on the rest of the summer leading into next season.
