Position: F
High School: LC Bird
AAU: River City Reign 16s
2020, Sincere Clark is a name many haven’t heard of, but will soon become a household entity. In two weeks, in the LC Bird Summer League, Clark has made himself known as an interior presence for the Skyhawks, working hard on the defensive end, rebounding, as well as the offensive end, working in the paint, using his size to his advantage. After a double digit win over Huguenot, PrepHoops sat down with Clark to discuss his impact on this squad, his goals, and how his summer has been thus far. Here’s what he had to say:
What are your main goals in being a part of this team?
“Just to work harder, do whatever is needed of me to help my team win.”
What is the most important lesson you think you’ve learned thus far regarding basketball?
“Defense wins games. If we do what we have to on the defensive end, everything else will click.
How has this summer been thus far, AAU wise?
“It’s been a pretty good summer with Reign, I’m just improving on things for this upcoming high school season.
Throughout this summer league, your squad has won convincingly in every game, what is the usual game plan you guys go out with the intentions to execute?
“Just compete, coach tells us to compete, we compete.”
Skill wise, what are some key components of your game you are working to improve on?
“Better ball handling, and just shooting the ball better.”
The new kid on the block, Sincere Clark, will continue to make his presence felt, as the playoffs began at the LC Bird Summer League. An already loaded, LC Bird Skyhawks squad should be in great hands with Clark in the front court.
