Prospect Spotlight: Brison Rockliffe (2019)
Lithonia has one of the state’s more underrated guards with Brison Rockliffe.
The 6-foot combo-guard has seen very little interest come in from college coaches so far. Rockliffe is hoping that this summer with Atlanta Select Prime 17U, he’s seen.
A two-way player and leader, Rockliffe briefly defined his skill-set to PHGA.
“I am a good mid-range shooter and a floor general that can play on or off the ball,” he said.
Especially since his junior season with the Bulldogs didn’t go as well as he’d of liked, Rockliffe is eager to get back out there for his senior season.
“My junior season was not as good as expected, because I wasn’t consistent. My role was to knock down shots and bring energy off the bench,” he said.
“My role will change this year because I will have the ball, making decisions and will have to help more with the scoring load.”
In the meantime, he’s got a big summer ahead with Atlanta Select Prime. One that will feature three July live periods, and college coaches will be abound.
“The spring has been pretty good. My goals for the summer are to get stronger, expand my game and to increase my recruitment,” said Rockliffe.
“Recruitment hasn’t went the way I wanted it to, but I have received interests from a couple schools.”
He added: “My recruitment goals are to get offered and talk to more schools.
