The 2021 class has had a year to establish themselves and get a feel for the high school game. Here is a look at some of the top 2021 players in North Carolina.

6’2 PG Carter Whitt-Leesville Road HS/Boo Williams-Regarding as one of the top prospects in the state at the PG spot, Whitt plays years above his age and is a legitimate threat when he has the ball in his hands, really handle, high basketball IQ.

5’8 PG Jordan McPhatter-Butler HS-Can score with the best of them. Quick, savvy PG who has unlimited range. He is slowly becoming better at understanding the ins and outs of the game and takes challenges personally.

6’3 SG Carson McCorkle-Greensboro Day/Garner Road-Originally in the class of 2020, McCorkle is now back in the class for his age. A skilled guard that is one of the most fundamentally sound players I have been around; high IQ, understands the game; can play above the rim; knock down shooter.

6’6 F Dontrez Styles-Kinston/Stackhouse Elite-The next big name out of Kinston, Styles is living up to the hype that has helped him garner the attention that comes with being the next one out of Kinston. Wake Forest has recently been trying to get Styles on campus for an unofficial visit.

6’5 Redford Dunton-Heritage HS/Team CP3-Skilled guard that sometimes go inside and get his buckets; versatile; able to guard multiple positions; able to knock down the mid-range jump-shot consistently.

6’2 Elijah Jamsion-Louisburg/Team Loaded NC-The young point guard picked up an offer from Ole Miss this week.

6’1 G Kobe Paysour-Kings Mountain HS-Big time athlete. One of the best WRs in the State. Is great at getting in the paint and making plays for others and himself. Really good in the pick and roll. Has a nice mid range game Has work hard to become a more consistent jump shooter.
