NCWC Team Camp Final Notes
Wilson Fike HS 2020 Forward Moses Parker: Plays the game with a high amount of energy and effort, did a nice job of rebounding the ball and slashing to the basket. One of the better players on his team, he provided a very high percentage of the scoring for his team.
Wilson Fike HS 2019 Forward/Center: Caleb Brayboy: Has nice size and will be a player that will provide a high amount of rebounding and blocked shots for his team. It seems like he will be a huge part of this team when it comes to being successful if he locks in on both sides of the court.
DH Conley HS 2019 Guard Jahmois Barnhill: He has the killer instinct in him that you love to see from a smaller guard. Whether it’s defending at a high level or breaking down his man to create offense for his team as well as himself. Any time you see a guard that may be smaller in height, you always want to see him play with intensity and that’s the case for him.
East Wake HS 2019 Guard Daveon Vick: He’s a player that provided just under double digit scoring each night last season and they will look to him to fulfill that role once again. He’s a solid scorer by using his IQ for the game and moving well without the ball.
Rocky Mount Prep 2019 Guard Sam Benton: Whenever you lose your two leading scorers to graduation, then you have to player that is ready to step into that role. Sam was an 11 point per game guy last year and will look to add to average this season, he’s a small but quick guard that finds gaps in defenses.
Rock Mount Prep 2020 Forward/Center Donnie Tillery: There is a high amount of upside with what he brings to the table, just from a rebounding a physicality perspective. With the mixture of his height and body structure he can cause all types of problems for opposing post players that are trying to score in the paint.
