Mizzou Team Camp (Top Underclassmen)
Here is a look at some of the top underclassmen at Tuesday’s Mizzou Team Camp in Columbia:
Caleb Love 6’3″ CBC ’20
Coban Porter 6’3″ Father Tolton ’20
Austin Stevens 6’5″ Plattsburg ’20
An impressive young Stretch 4 who did a nice job knocking down 3-pointers off the catch. In a game against Marshall, he made seven 3-pointers, including three in the final 90 seconds of the game in a comeback victory. He is a solid athlete who was also very active on both ends of the floor.
Jace Lance 6’0″ Marshall ’20
A talented point guard who is a coach’s son and plays that way with his knowledge and ability to make plays on offense. He is a good facilitator who consistently found his young teammates for scoring opportunities. On offense, he can fill it up from long distance off the catch or with a pull up from deep.
Nyk Bryant 6’0″ Park Hill ’21
A young combo guard who was very impressive with his drive and ability to go at full speed throughout the game. I was impressed with his on-ball defensively ability, where he could turn the opposing ball handler several times and disrupt. On offense, he was very dynamic in the open court with his ability to attack the basket with speed and quickness.
Rob Martin 5’8″ CBC ’22
An extremely poised and savvy young point guard who has the ability to step in and play varsity basketball right away. He is a natural floor leader who knows how to facilitate the offense and get the scorers the ball when and where they need it. He also scored on several slick drives to the basket and knocked down open 3-pointers. He is quite small, but his basketball IQ and court knowledge is quite high.
