The Mars Hill University basketball team held their team camp this weekend featuring some of the top teams from around the western North Carolina region. Here is a look at some of the top prospects from the camp.
Brandon Aumiller (2019), Mountain Heritage HS)-One of the more physically ready guards in the area, Aumiller is a finisher in traffic, has a good handle, and can score from most spots on the floor.
Callin Randolph (2020, Mountain Heritage HS)-One of the top shooters in the state, Randolph is a pure form shooter that does not miss very often.
Justus Shelton (2020, Mountain Heritage HS)-Shelton has added 10 pounds of muscle to his frame and is a legit 6-foot-9. He is getting better at his mid-range jump-shot and his footwork is improving.
Lucas Jenkins (2020, Mountain Heritage HS)-Good size, good form on his shot, needs to shoot more.
Logan Higgins (2021, Mountain Heritage HS-6’5 combo guard that is smart, has a high IQ, great size at the guard spot. One to watch in the 2021 class.
Carson Redden (2021, Hendersonville HS)-Good handle and smart with the ball in his hands.
Jalen Branton (2021, Mountain Heritage HS)-Dog on defense; shifty; good vision; smart; flashy; makes right passes; shoots it well.
Nathan Ledford (2021, Mountain Heritage HS)-Shooter that can really spread the floor out with Callin Randolph for Mountain Heritage HS. Smart player that makes smart plays.
Dwight Cannady (2022, Hendersonville HS)-Slashing guard that is a true freshman, solid start for the young guy. Good size and can get to the rim.
