Kansas Rankings: Class of 2020 (biggest risers in top 10)
Prep Hoops Kansas takes a look at several players who have broken into the top 10 of the latest 2020 rankings.
No. 3 — O’mar Stanley, 6’8, F, 2020, Blue Valley West
Stanley made the move to Blue Valley West from Hogan Prep prior to last season and had a breakout season for the Jaguars. He a rare combination of size, athleticism and skill and has put together a strong spring with MoKan Elite’s 16U squad. Stanley is likely to draw significant Division I interest in the future as he has all the tools to play at a high level.
No. 5 — Xavier Bell, 6’4, G, 2020, Andover Central
Bell has really taken his game to new heights over the past season and late in the spring even showed off an improved 3-point shooting stroke. He is a strong, physical point guard who can break down a defense off the bounce, get into the paint and make plays and has the versatility to defend multiple positions or even post up at the offensive end.
No. 7 — Shawn Warrior, 6’5, G/F, 2020, Campus
Warrior is a talented inside-out forward who is capable of scoring in the paint, is terrific in the pick-and-roll and can also step out and handle the ball and shoot from the perimeter. Warrior is a well-rounded player who continues to add new elements to his game.
No. 8 — Tanner Mans, 6’5, F, 2020, Bishop Carroll
Mans has impressed this offseason with his play for Kansas Pray N Play’s 16U squad, showcasing a smooth perimeter jumper, good length and an emerging ability to put the ball on the floor and create. He is a well-rounded offensive player who really excels moving away from the ball, cutting, finding seams in a defense and setting up opponents with his movement.
