Prep Hoops Kansas takes a look at several players who have raised their profile over the past year and have risen up the latest 2019 rankings.

Braeden Belt, 6’1, G, Andover Central

Belt is a long, rangy guard who is slegiht of build, but has plenty of game. He handle the ball well, can shake defenders and make plays off the bounce, and has the ability to find seams in defenses and get all the way to the basket. Belt is also an exceptional outside shooter. His play this spring has helped him climb the rankings and into our No. 36 overall spot.

Gabe Fisher, 6’5, F, Wichita Collegiate

Fisher is a smart, versatile player who can do a little bit of everything. He is a good defender, a strong rebounder and a terrific outside shooter for a 6’5 forward. He has the ability to handle the ball a little but his best attribute is his outside shooting. He has put together a strong offseason with MoKan Select.

Zachary Genilo, 6’5, G/F, 2019, St. Thomas Aquinas

Genilo combines good size with terrific perimeter shooting and the ability to play inside or out. He has the ability to take his game into the post a little where he can bang and shoot over smaller players, but is also capable of handling the ball, playing on the perimeter and is among the better 3-point shooters we’ve seen this offseason.

Dyelan Reed, 6’4, F, Concordia

Reed has put together a strong offseason competing for SSA Elite and has moved into the No. 26 spot in our 2019 rankings. He brings a diverse skill set to the floor and a willingness to do a little bit of everything. He is strong, physical and can play inside or on the perimeter where he is a good shooter.
