Campbell University Team Camp Final Notes
Wakefield HS 2019 Guard Jaques Shields: One of the smaller players on the court, he made his presence known with a big time performance in their second game of the day. He got into the paint at a very high rate and scored the ball on a consistent basis.
West Brunswick HS 2021 Guard Makoa Surigao: There is a lot to like about this youngster, we have seen him multiple times now, and each time we have seen him, he has gotten better. Throughout the day he did a nice job of getting the team into their sets and facilitating, we know he spends a nice amount of time in the gym working on his craft so you have to be excited about his potential.
Greenfield School 2019 Bryson Baker: You probably know him from his game winning shot at the buzzer this season that gave Greenfield School a win over cross state rival United Faith. However he is a solid player for his team overall and is someone that can knock down shots at a nice rate, look for him to step up this season.
Athens Drive 2019 Guard Chase Graham: His numbers wont scream at you but where he makes the most impact is with his leadership on the floor. Constantly communicating with teammates and coaches, he is a player that you love to have on your team, he also showed the ability to defend quick guard throughout the day.
Rolesville HS 2019 Guard Joseph Green: Was productive throughout the day, he scored the ball at a nice rate and showed flashes of just how good he can be. One of the more impressive attributes about him was the way he kept defenders guessing with the different moves he made off the dribble.
Rolesville HS 2020 Wing Antonio Williams: Anytime you see a player crash the boards at a high rate from the wing spot, then you have to be impressed. He was constantly on the boards offensively and defensively, his on the ball defense was solid throughout the day as well.
