Campbell Univeristy Team Camp Standouts
Greenfield School 2020 Guard Djimon Bailey: He has grown some more and is now in the 6’5 range, once you add that with his long wingspan and guard skills, then you have a player that you have to keep a close eye on. He shot the ball well, but didn’t settle for the jumpshot instead he attacked the defense and drew some fouls, so far he has picked up interest from D1 programs at the Low Major and Mid Major level.
Greenfield School 2019 Guard Collin Guilford: The quick and crafty guard had plenty of people in attendance wondering who he was with the way he played. From the beginning of the game he made his presence felt and was constantly forcing defenders to retreat and to attempt to slow him down, nice player overall.
Greenfield School 2020 Forward Trey Pittman: At this point he can play at the SF spot or the stretch forward spot for a team that runs that type of system. He’s 6’6 with the ability to shoot the deep ball but also showed that he can defend wings fairly well, you have to like what he brings with the ability to stretch the floor.
Greenfield School 2020 Guard Justin Holland: Every team needs a player that can knock down shots and he showed that he can do that. One play in particular that let us know he could shoot it well was a designed play for him that ran him off a screen, he knocked down the deep ball with ease.
Wakefield HS 2019 Wing Trae Smith: Rebounding and scoring were the attributes that he showed the most and what impressed us more than anything else. Not only was he productive but he was efficient , making the most off each touch that he got.
Wakefield HS 2019 Guard Elijah Shabazz: One of my favorite players of the day, he’s a guard that is bigger and stronger than most guards. He showed that he can score the ball well but he didn’t look score first, instead he got his teammates going and made some outstanding passes, once he shows that he can knock down outside shots with consistency, he will be a player that will see his stock rise.
