Bracy’s Skills Summer Showcase: Class of 2022 Standouts
Sunday June 3rd North Bay Area Trainer Brandon Bracy put on his Summer Showcase at American Canyon High School. The showcase was filled with talent from around the area from Class of 2022, all the way up to 2019. The players were able to compete against each other, go through fundamental skill work, strength and conditioning, and gain valuable knowledge about their approach to the game. The showcase featured two 8th graders that were mixed in with high schoolers but I did not stop them from competing.
Alexander Quick – PG Salesian HS 2022
Quick has potential to be a floor general once he fully develops. Size could be an issue for him but he has a strong work ethic and wants to continue to get better. He has a nice floater and mid-range game, and plays hard on the defensive end. Quick had a solid workout at the showcase as he found himself playing guard with juniors and seniors at the showcase and didn’t back down from the competition.
Malcolm Caminero – SG De La Salle HS 2022
Caminero is a high character kid and is very mature for his age. He has worked with some of the best trainers in the Bay Area on his journey to prepare for high school and it shows in his play. At the showcase he displayed excellent shooting ability, and a high basketball IQ. As he prepares for high school he will need to work on his footwork and his quickness to be more effective but he is willing to put the work in.
