Sunday June 3rd North Bay Area Trainer Brandon Bracy put on his Summer Showcase at American Canyon High School. The showcase was filled with talent from around the area from Class of 2022, all the way up to 2019. The players were able to compete against each other, go through fundamental skill work, strength and conditioning, and gain valuable knowledge about their approach to the game. The junior class was really strong at Bracy’s camp as a few local junior colleges took notice of the talent. This showcase will be the start of their journey heading into their last season of high school.

Cameron Joseph – Armijo HS 6’3 SG

Joseph is long and has great footwork. His outside shot is good but could be better, and he attacks the rim well. His secondary moves going to the basket are pretty impressive and plays with a good pace to his game. Joseph has a lot of potential and could be someone who blossoms as he gets older.

Josiah Davis – Armijo HS 6’2 SG

Davis jumps really well and does a good job on crashing the glass for offensive rebounds. He is a tough competitor and he doesn’t back down from any matchup. His jump shot will continue to improve but his motor is one of the first things a coach will notice. He goes hard every possession.

Ezekiel Dycus – Jesse Bethel HS 6’3 SG

Dycus is another long gifted athlete who also does a good job on crashing the boards once the shot goes up. He scores a lot of second chance points and he jumps really well. Dycus can also shoot from the outside and attack the basket off the dribble.

Garrett Siebels – Casa Grande HS 6’3 SG

Siebels is very crafty and can score in many different ways. He has a James Harden like hesitation to the basket and he can also shoot which makes him tough to guard. Siebels has interest from Yale, and the University of Chicago so far. His play at the showcase was amongst the top out of the campers.

Marvin Mcbroom – Vallejo HS 5’8 PG

Mcbroom has a great motor and has a lot of speed. His first step is very quick and he has a good floater package. His outside shooting needs to improve but he is an instant spark when he is on the court because he plays hard.

Darrion Johnson – Rodriguez HS 5’8′ PG

Johnson has a high basketball IQ and has excellent court vision. He does a good job of pushing the ball to the middle of the floor and dishing off to teammates or pulling up for a mid-range jump shot. He is one of the top guards in Solano County and he should have an excellent senior season at Rodriguez High School.

Mekhi Little – Rodriguez HS 5’8′ PG

Little is a sold shooter who is also getting better at attacking the basket. He showed his ability to finish at the rim at the showcase and he also jumps pretty well for his size. His on-ball defense isn’t that bad but it could be better.

Aaron Brown – Rodriguez HS 5’10 PG

Brown moves really well without the ball and can shoot from the outside. He does a good job of utilizing his pump fakes to create space for his jump shot and he also plays hard. Brown is a high character kid that can play for any coach.
