All-SCISA Team : South Carolina Team Camp
Prep Hoops was in attendance on Saturday at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. The USC Team Camp featured over 70 teams on Saturday and here at Prep Hoops we were able to watch 20 teams quite comfortably. Lets take a look at the top players from the SCISA schools in the camp.
Jordan Burch (2020) – Hammond
Burch is just a physical specimen that can over power people in the paint. Burch likes to draw contact and better yet he finishes very well around the cup. Burch will have big-time football recruitment before its all over at Hammond.
Isaiah Caldwell (2020) – Heathwood Hall (pictured on front)
Caldwell 6’4 has grown some in the past year. Caldwell has great handles and sees the floor very well. Caldwell is a pin point passer with great instincts on the floor. Caldwell got several deflections today on the defensive end. Caldwell might be the tallest player on the Highlanders roster this season.
Mezziah Oakman (2020) – Ben Lippen
Oakman should be a major factor this coming season for the Falcons. Oakman 6’11 transferred over to Ben Lippen from Gray Collegiate last January 2018. Oakman runs the floor very well and is a quick leaper. Oakman can really alter and challenge shots on the defensive end
Joshua Beadle (2021) – Cardinal Newman
Beadle provided the leadership for the Cardinals with Carter Jr. not in attendance. Beadle is a silky smooth player with a sweet left-handed stroke. Beadle plays well beyond his years with his maturity on the court.
David Muncy (2019) – Shannon Forest Christian (Greenville)
Muncy has gotten his recruitment out of the way and committed to North Greenville (SC) (NCAA D2) for next season.
Adam Frank (2019) – Shannon Forest Christian (Greenville)
Frank plays a compliment role to Muncy. Frank hit several open shots today from downtown for the Crusaders. Frank plays on the AAU circuit with the South Carolina Playmakers.
Chico Carter Jr. (2019) – Cardinal Newman
Carter Jr. was not in attendance for the Cardinals as he was taking in the Winthrop Elite Camp. Carter Jr. picked up a few scholarship offers this weekend in Charlotte and later Winthrop according to Cardinals Head Coach Philip Deter.
