All Football Team : Coker Team Camp
Prep Hoops spent the past few days at the Coker College Team Camp in Hartsville, SC. The Cobras are a NCAA D2 program coached by Head Coach Aric Samuel. Lets take a look at some of the players in the camp that would make our All-Football Team.
Jordan Jones (2020) – Trinity Byrnes (Darlington) (pictured on front)
Jones guided the Titans to a SCISA State Football Championship last season. Jones a left-handed guard finished the football season (32-64) 748 yards 11 touchdowns and 4 interceptions last season. Jones helped the basketball team to a 25-6 and a runner-up finish to Spartanburg Day in the SCISA State Championship Game. Jones played his freshman season at South Florence HS.
Nick Jones (2020) – Trinity Byrnes (Darlington)
Jones recently transferred over to Trinity Byrnes from nearby Lake City HS. Washington recorded 48 receptions – 619 yards and 6 touchdowns last year. Jones didn’t play basketball for the Panthers last season.
Emmanuel Johnson (2020) – Fort Dorchester HS
Johnson arrived this off season at Fort Dorchester after playing at Northwood Academy. Johnson 6’5 plays AAU with TMP 16U is a rugged post player with great shoulders. Johnson transferred over to the Patriots to maybe concentrate on a football career after high school.
Antoine Parker (2020) – Fort Dorchester HS
Parker plays the game so hard and is extremely active around the basket. Parker plays at a football powerhouse.
Jalen Coit (2020) – Cheraw HS
Coit recently received a offer from Purdue University as a wide receiver. Coit already has scored 1,043 career points before his junior season and averaged 22.9 ppg last season for the Braves. Coit a left-handed guard recorded 55 receptions and 916 yards last season to go with 11 touchdowns. The Braves football team finished the year at (9-4).
Ojay White (2021) – Andrew Jackson HS (Kershaw)
White is one very pesky defender that never turns off the motor while playing. White really likes to play and create havoc on the defensive end.
Demonte Capehart (2020) – Hartsville HS
Capehart 6’6 plays in the paint for the Red Foxes and loves to play on contact. Last season Capehart recorded 7 sacks for the Red Foxes.
Andre Banks (2019) – Summerville HS
Banks is a power guard on the hardwood for the Green Wave. Banks is a tough minded player that plays wide receiver and quarterback on the football team.
