The Carvers Bay Summer League is made up 4 sessions throughout the month of June. Lets take a look at the top performers from 2019 class in the opening action Prep Hoops took in out in the Choppee Community.
Kenynon Scott – Darlington HS (pictured on front)
Scott got to the basket when he wanted here today at the Carvers Bay Summer League. Scott showed great body control attacking the basket and scored it several times off the dribble. Scott found the open man in transition and plays almost to unselfish at times. Scot will be the leader this season for the Falcons.
Tariq Nowlin – Marion HS
Nowlin likes to float on the perimeter. Nowlin lacks any kind of contact on the floor for the Swamp Foxes. Nowlin has great length and likes to have the ball in his hands like a point guard at times. Nowlin must get stronger and hit the weight room. Nowlin will settle for a lot of three pointers on the left wing.
Jalen Bailey – Stall HS
Bailey makes the Warriors offense run and run. Bailey a left-handed guard likes to play fast end to end. Bailey has a nice mid-range game and pull-up jumper.
Cameron Profit – Hannah-Pamplico HS
Profit is a FREAK ATHLETE on the floor. Profit at times over extended himself and just needs to finish above the rim with ease (not always about style points). Profit 5’11 has great elevation on his jump shot and shows to have a quick 1st step.
Profit recorded 29 receptions – 526 yards and 6 touchdowns for the Red Raiders. Profit also picked off 6 balls as a defensive back.
Zion Davis – Hannah-Pamplico HS
Davis 6’3 a undersized post for the Red Raiders has really good footwork and soft hands. Davis work the block side to side and showed good ability to seal in the paint. Davis could play inside-out on the floor when he stepped out to hit a 12 footer.
