2019 Prospects to Watch
Trinity Christian Guard KJ Marshall: With the departure of two of trinity’s leading scorers, he will be called on to play a major role this season. He has the ability to score the ball and is a blur when playing in the open court, on the defensive end he gets after it as well, constantly applying pressure and forcing opponents into TO’s.
New Life Christian Wing Latrell Jones: With a physique that already looks like he could possibly play on the next level, Jones is a player that has picked up some interest from D2 program. He knocks down shots at a pretty nice rate, as well as being able to make plays above the rim and defending multiple positions.
South Brunswick HS Forward Jace McKinney: If you’re a college program and you need a player with: height, athletic ability, a very high motor and nice upside, he is one you should take a look at. His upside is clearly evident when watching him play, throughout the spring and summer, we have seen him play at a very high level.
Village Christian Center Derrick Quansah: The amount of time that he has been playing the game in America hasn’t been very long but there is quite a few things to like about a player who is still learning and is in the 6’10 height range.
Overhills HS Guard Zavian McLean: At this point I know it may sound like a broken record, but this kid is very much deserving of a scholarship offer. He is a natural bucket getter that plays with a high motor and doesn’t back down from any type of challenge, high D2 and some D1 programs have been showing solid interest in him so far.
Clinton HS Forward Xavier Howard: The 6’5 forward was one of the more consistent players for his team throughout the season. He score the ball well and rebounds it at a nice rate, he doesn’t mind physical play at all which should help his transition to the next level to go rather smoothly.
