Prep Hoops has put the latest 2019 Palmetto State Rankings out.

Josiah James takes over the #1 slot after a incredible season this year at Porter Gaud. James 6’6 point guard helped the Cyclones 3-peat in the 3A SCISA ranks. James recently made the USA Basketball U18 team that will compete for a FIBA gold medal starting next week in Canada.

James averaged 11 ppg and 6 assists this season for the Cyclones. James has several offers throughout the country including Duke, Clemson, Florida, Michigan State, Virginia and South Carolina this year.

Christian Brown

Christian Brown #2 recently took a official visit to UNLV this past weekend. Brown has narrowed down his list down to 7 schools. Clemson, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina State, Seton Hall, South Carolina and the Rebels.

Juwan Gary

Juwan Gary #3 will made a decision in November after narrowing his list down to 5 schools. Alabama, Clemson, North Carolina State, Virginia Tech and South Carolina have made the cut for Gary. Gary plays at Gray Collegiate the defending 2A State Champions.

Malcolm Wilson

Malcolm Wilson comes in at #4 in the latest 2019 Palmetto State Rankings. Wilson a center from Ridge View HS has offers from Clemson, South Carolina, VCU, Georgetown, Rice and Georgia Tech to name just a few. Wilson helped the Blazers win the 4A State Championship this past March.

Trae Hannibal

Trae Hannibal #5 is off the board and headed to the University of South Carolina and Head Coach Frank Martin. Hannibal a guard from Hartsville HS committed last week to the Gamecocks.

Calvin “CJ” Felder, Tre Jackson, Deuce Dean, Chico Carter Jr and Michel Dukes round out the Top 10 in the 2019 Palmetto State Rankings.

Ishan White

Ishan White #16  made a big jump up after having a great spring during the NCAA Live Period. Ta’Lon Cooper #17 relocated back to the Palmetto State after playing last season at Word of God (Raleigh, NC). Cooper will play at Dorman HS next season. Cooper played this spring with Upward Stars Upstate Silver.
