UNSIGNED Seniors
Prep Hoops takes a look at some UNSIGNED Seniors (2018) players that are still available for next season in this article.
Jaron Williams – York Prep
Williams a one-time Longwood University signee is still open. Williams 6’6 is ranked #11 in the Prep Hoops 2018 Palmetto State Class. Williams was playing AAU with PSB Select.
Simon Grant – Dreher HS
Grant 6’0 averaged 17.3 ppg and 7.9 rebounds this past season for the Blue Devils (9-14). The Blue Devils had a disappointing season after making a deep run into the playoffs the year before. Grant is ranked #23 in the 2018 Class.
Skylar Williams – West Ashley HS
Williams scored over 1,000 points in his career. Williams visited USC-Aiken this past weekend. Lander (SC) and Queens University (NC) have shown interest. Williams will go to Queens University this weekend he told Prep Hoops. Williams is ranked #30 in the 2018 Class.
Samuel Woods – Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach
Woods 6’8 left-handed forward has really only played 2 years of varsity basketball. Woods started off his career at Waccamaw HS. Woods is very lite on the feet and shows to have a soft touch from 8-10 feet in.
Tuzion Brock – Southside HS (Greenville)
Brock JUST WINS STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS. Brock won 2 3A State Championships for the Tigers the past 2 seasons. Brock a tough nosed point guard plays with alot of grit on the floor.
Yohannes Utsey – Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS
Utsey will have to entertain junior college according to Bruins Head Coach Willie Thomas. Utsey 6’6 averaged a double-double this season for the Bruins. Utsey plays with his back to the basket and doesn’t mind playing with contact in the paint.
Rashane Duncan – Wade Hampton HS (Hampton) (pictured on front)
Duncan 6’10 is not much of a scoring threat but he can rebound the ball on both ends along with altering shots in the post. Duncan has a very slender frame is better defensively than offensively. Duncan played 3 seasons of AAU basketball with Upward Stars Southeast 2018. Wade Hampton HS is located off I-95 in the southern part of the state while heading into Georgia. Duncan started off his high school career at Estill HS.
Randall Litmon – West Ashley HS
Litmon visited Spartanburg Methodist College this past weekend according to Wildcats Head Coach Ronnie Dupre. Limon averaged 13.8 ppg, 7.7 rebounds and 1.8 blocks this season. Litmon 6’5 left-handed wing played his sophomore and junior years at nearby Northwood Academy.
Quinton Alston – Kingstree HS
Alston 6’5 is a 3 sport athlete for the Jaguars. Alston averaged 16 ppg and 8.2 rebounds this past season for the Jaguars. Alston also excels on the gridiron as wide receiver. Alston is like a Swiss Army Knife he can do a bit of everything.
