Surging Wing Julius Dixon
Junior Julius Dixon (PrepHoopsTN #24) burst on to the Grassroots scene with EAB 17u. April was a profitable month for both team and individual.
EAB 17u won consecutive Hoopseen events unblemished during LIVE period. The 6-foot-6 self-proclaimed shooting guard/small forward was a big reason why.
After a 22pt (6-9) from 3 & 9 reb performance in the Hoopseen #ATLJAM Championship, #EAB2019 6’7 SG JULIUS DIXON (Fayetteville, TN) picked up his 1st offer from UT Martin. (@julius_dixon123)

Belmont is expressing significant interest and Julius believes they have offered. The program tends to dangle offers like carrots without wholly committing to the extension and if Julius decided tomorrow to commit the Bruins would probably take the commitment.
Two weeks ago the Class of 2019 player rankings updated. Julius Dixon debuted at #24. Only Drew Pember of Knoxville Bearden High School debuted higher. Debuting players represent the previously unknown (to us). Generally they sneak in the middle of the pack. It is rare, or it should be rare, for a previously unknown talent to be so severely overlooked by PrepHoopsTN. And yet here we are.
Julius Dixon plays with great length. His shooting touch is good for any player, not just a taller wing. He can penetrate, defend, and doesn’t have a big ego.
With the UT Martin offer we now have a floor of OVC basketball. Follow along as we hunt for his ceiling.
