Spring Live Period: 2019 Stock Risers
Brady Spence (Atlanta Allstars)- Having been a fan of Spence since last summer, it has been great seeing him constantly grow and develop into an attractive prospect. He excels as a rebounder and shot blocker, using his long arms to get his hands on balls above the rim. Spence runs the floor very well and has shown some aggressiveness when rising up in traffic for dunks. He has a nice base of tools on offense to build on, it will be scary once he puts it all together.
Trae Broadnax (Upward Stars SE)- A Georgia native, Broadnax has been turning his D1 interest into offers lately. After watching him at the Adidas Gauntlet this past weekend, it was clear that those are well deserved. Broadnax just gets it done; he comes with a no-nonsense attitude and plays with toughness that sets an example for his team. He is a well-rounded offensive player who is best at getting to the basket and has a solid frame that he uses on both ends. Look for him to continue to rise this spring and summer.
Alex Kelehear (Atlanta Timberwolves)- Kelehear is so steady and consistent for the Timberwolves, giving them efficient production every time I have watched them this spring. He is a lethal shooter who can heat up and rattle off multiple 3’s in the blink of an eye. He may lack size and explosiveness, but Kelehear is crafty and finds ways to score inside amongst the trees. Kelehear plays with the poise and composure that coaches look for and should be a popular name among lower level programs.
Jacob Harris (Hawks Elite)- Harris was great at the Atlanta Jam this past weekend, bursting onto the scene and gaining the attention of multiple Division 1 programs. He is a forward who can stretch the floor effectively, put it on the floor some, and score with his back to the basket. Harris has versatility that is hard to find and has displayed athleticism in open space. He will be a very nice target for high academic programs over the next few months.
Jordan Krueger (Atlanta Timberwolves)- Krueger continued to build on his reputation as a lights-out shooter this past weekend. After being a bit streaky during the first live period weekend, Krueger stepped it up at the Atlanta Jam. He had a 25-point outburst against the Carolina Wolves and showed flashes of his ability to score in other ways throughout the weekend as well. He caught the attention of multiple schools and should continue to draw more interest.
