Bob Gibbons Notes
In the Tiger Tussle at Brevard HS, some WNC names played well. Nate Ledford averaged 28 points, Jakari Thompson averaged 22.5 ppg & Caden Norris averaged 18 points per game.
Thought 6’7, F Miles Jones had a solid first two days for Team Winston at #Gibbons. Coach’s’ son that knows what he can do on the floor. Can defend multiple positions and is versatile offensively.
Dontavius King hasn’t missed a beat since I saw him last. Former upstate SC kid’s first few months in Georgia have been impressive. Big framed forward has seen his recruitment rise. Also picked up FAMU offer in football this week.
Jaxon Etter of Atlanta All-Stars is a bucket. Love his ability to slash to the basket and finish or knock down the outside jumpshot. Very good shooter from beyond the arc with a high basketball IQ.
CJ Felder has put on a show at #Gibbons so far. Just finished with 20 points and 18 rebounds. Trae Broadnax with a nice scoring output with 20 points for Upward Stars SE. He is one of the most athletic players in this region. Always in attack mode.
