Recruiting Report: Kyle Rose (2019)
Kyle Rose, a class of 2019 guard at Rock Creek Christian Academy, is standing out this spring with District Basketball Club. The 6-foot-3 southpaw, who can play a variety of positions, has received four offers since the weekend. Rose is looking like one of the spring’s biggest stock boosters so far.
“I would say that i am a floor general who is very versatile, and can play both side of the ball,” Rose stated. “I have have a high IQ, I show leadership, and communicate with teammates. Also can rebound the ball as a point guard.”
Confidence is a big reason for the emergence of Rose. With no varsity experience prior to this season, he played a key role for one of the area’s top teams, and helped guide them to a 26-4 record. Rose says he has emphasized getting his teammates involved over the past twelve months.
“I help create good player chemistry,” Rose explained. “I can look at my teammate a certain way, and they know where to go or be.”
Right now, UMass-Lowell is reportedly recruiting Rose, whose goals are to get stronger, stay in the gym, and “give 110% every opportunity”, the hardest. What can he bring to a college program?
“A strong work ethic. Leadership, including the ability to get my teammates involved while knowing their strengths and weaknesses.”
