Recruiting Report: Justin Rukat (2019)
Justin Rukat is having a great spring for the ultra competitive Michigan Playmakers. The 6’8” forward has shown skills that can transfer to the next level. Rukat’s strong AAU season so far has made him a hot commodity on the recruiting scene. Rukat is in the class of 2019 and attends Novi Detroit Catholic Central.
Justin Rukat is a versatile forward, especially on the offensive end. He has the ability to score from multiple spots on the floor. With a smooth jumper that allows him to score from mid-range and from deep, he must be accounted for at all times by the defense. Rukat can score from the inside and the outside, making him a true stretch four. This makes him incredibly valuable to many college coaches. Rukat has made great strides in his confidence and aggressiveness under the tutelage of the Michigan Playmaker coaches. The talented Playmaker roster has helped foster the growth of these attributes. As he continues to develop his confidence and aggressiveness, the rest of his game will follow.

Rukat has proven that he can be a valuable post prescense at the next level. He has developed into a solid finisher who protects the ball in the paint.
Rukat’s recruitment has started to take off. The fast rise in his recruitment is a testament to his work ethic and improvement. There are multiple schools showing serious interest. If he continues his sound play and outstanding development, the number of college programs showing interest will rise and be followed with multiple offers.
