  • C.B Aycock Guard Eli Batts has signed with Barton College, Eli is a nice pickup as he was one of the top shooters in the senior class. He has solid height for a D2 Guard and he doesn’t try to do anything outside of what you would want him to do, in the classroom he was stellar as well with a very high GPA.
  • Davidson County Community College has been busy recruiting lately, they picked up commitments and signings from Rocky Mount Prep high scoring Guard Khalil Baker who averaged over 26 PPG this year, while also picking up Fairmont HS Guard Derrick Arnette. Arnette is a player that is known for being a high level defender but also showed that he can scored the ball this year while averaging almost 15 PPG for his high school squad.
  • Northside HS Guard Gabe Kirkendoll made his decision to attend Elizabeth City State University to team up with former teammate Zach Hobbs. Kirkendoll is a player that can shoot the deep ball, defend, and knows how to win games, with a record of 59-1 during his last two years of high school, there is a lot to like about him.
  • Cape Fear HS Wing Shaq Angel has signed with Fayetteville Tech CC, Angel is what we would call a raw talent at this point. He’s athletic and showed some flashes of scoring and defensive abilities this season , once he puts it all together , he could end up being a nice player overall and FTCC could be the beneficiary of this.
  • United Faith Christian Guard Rafael Jenkins is headed to VMI, the gifted guard has been one of the players that we have kept an eye on. His defensive ability is high and is something that we know will translate well to the next as well as his natural PG instincts.
  • Cape Fear Christian Forward Milos Galogaza is headed to Belmont Abbey to team up with John Bowen and Thank God Avar at the Forward spot. Milos is a player that can stretch the defense with his ability to shoot as well as a bang inside for rebounds as he has added quite a bit of muscle over the last year.
