Prospect Spotlight: Erik Reynolds (2021)
Erik Reynolds, a class of 2021 guard at Bullis, has been producing consistently this spring for 15U Team Takeover. The versatile freshman, who will likely compete for consistent minutes next season, has demonstrated the ability to do a bit of everything from either guard position.
“For those that haven’t seen my game, I would say that I am an all-around player who is a descent shooter and a team player,” Reynolds stated of his overall game. “In the last year, the aspect of my game that was most improved is my defense. Over the course of my high school season, I learned that I have to be more patient on offense, and focus on my shot selection.”
One thing that we really liked about Reynolds was how vocal he is, especially on defense. Reynolds cited shooting, including free throws, and ball handling on areas that he is currently focusing on for improvement.
“My spring and summer goals are to qualify for peach jam, and win it with my AAU team,” he stated. “Also, I want to prep myself for the next high school season by working on my shot and ball handling.”
What does Reynolds hope to bring to a college program down the road?
“What I think I can bring to a college program is hard work and willing to be coachable.”
