Anfernee Nelson (2020)- Rockets 918 16U
Nelson exploded on Saturday featuring a 24 point performance for the Rockets.
He scored in the paint a lot today, willing the ball in the hoop. He is a versatile prospects in the fact that he can be effective in the paint as an undersized 4-man but can take big men out to the perimeter for a blow-by.
Throw in his solid jumper and Nelson is a wing that will likely continue to see success this summer.
Dylan Broughman (2020)- Mokan Select 16U
At 6’7” Dylan is a long 3/4 who can play in the paint but also on the wing/ in the open court a bit as well.
Despite not having a real muscular frame, he showed some ability to finish through contact in the paint and defensively did a good job of protecting the rim and communicating with his teammates.
Chandler Marks (2020)- SSA Elite 16U Black
Chandler was very active on defense, contesting any shot in his area on Saturday. He recovered quickly from a missed shot with a chasedown block and also used his motor to help his team on the boards.
While Chandler struggled at times offensively, he was able to get good shots and still made an impact offensively.
Joseph Wright (2022)- SSA Elite 16U Black
Wright is currently an eighth grader in Carthage, MO playing up and holding his own on this level.
He has great poise for a prospect his age, tight handles, and can shoot the ball as well.
Tayven Glasgow (2020)- KC Pacers 16U
Tayven plays hard and rebounds well for a guard, not afraid to stick his nose in the paint on any given possession.
He also does a good job at identifying mismatches and putting a smaller defender on the block and can create opportunities with his back to the basket despite being a 6’2” guard.
