Josh Level Classic Preview: Part 2
Joey Baker: The decision he made to reclass up to 2018 surprised quite a few people but we like the move for him and for fans of his, this may be the last time you get the chance to see him play in state. The 6’7 Wing can shoot the ball from deep at a high level and knows how to win, he’s helped bring home two state chips in his 4 year career at Trinity.
Will Dillard: Another Georgia Southern signee, Dillard will being his top notch defense and playmaking ability to this event. He has a made a name for himself on the defensive end of the floor as well as getting his entire team involved offensively.
Jalen Cone: One of the top 2020 prospects in the state and one of the younger players to be featured in this game, Cone is a player that should perform well. He’s a high flyer and a bucket getter, two things that you like to see in this type of setting.
Ahmad Jefferies: His Senior season was full of buckets as he put up some crazy scoring numbers throughout. Although his recruitment didn’t take off like he wanted, he will do a year of Prep school next year to help get his name out some more. This event could be the chance that he has been waiting for to show he belongs to be mentioned with the best of the state as many feel like he’s a sleeper prospect despite his ridiculous high school numbers.
Hunter Tyson: The talented Forward has been impressive on and off the court thorough his high school career, where his GPA impressed as much as his PPG. He can score the ball inside and out, as well as having some impressive athletic ability.
Patrick Williams: Another highly ranked player in the state for his class, Williams has a nice game overall to go along with his 6’6 height on the wing. He’s been one of those players this spring that has performed at a very high level with a recent offer that came from the University of Texas.
