Josh Level Classic Final Preview
Jalen Lecque: His high flying dunks and the intensity that he plays with has earned him the nickname ‘‘Baby Westbrook’’. Throughout the season he played at a very high level and through the spring and summer he has continued that stellar play which has only increased the amount of college interest he has received.
Aaron Wiggins: The Terps got a good one in this young man as he has good size, skillset and upside for a player on the wing. During the Triad All-Star Classic he got it going scoring wise very early on, he can knock down shots but knows how to get to the cup with ease.
Jaelyn Withers: He’s a top prospect in the state in his class and has a picked up a nice amount of interest and offers, with a height of 6’8 and his high skill level, it’s not surprise that colleges are highly interested. The possibility of a matchup between him and Gantt could be very fun for the players and fans so let’s see what happens.
Immanuel Bates: NC State fans that want to get a small glimpse at the future big will want to check this game out. Bates missed his entire senior season with a shoulder injury but seems to be fully healthy now and will finish out his high school career with this game. He has the ability to block shots, as well as finish inside the paint, the scary part is that he still has a lot of upside and has come a very long way in a short amount of time.
Wendell Moore: The #1 ranked player in NC in 2019 as well as a highly raked prospect nationally, he’s one that has shown time and time again, how good he can be. The ability he has to score the ball is impressive but what I truly respect about him is how unfazed he gets, regardless of what may be going on.
Connor Crabtree: The two guard has already made his decision to head to Tulane after a year of prep school. If you were in the state of NC during the 2017 season then you definitely remember him and what he brings to the table, he can score the ball at a high level, has a smooth handle and nice athletic ability.
Jaden Springer: If you haven’t had a chance to see this young man play, you will want to take full advantage of the opportunity during the JLC. He has the ability to go for 30/40 points with ease and has heard some comparisons to current Minnesota Timberwolves Guard Derrick Rose.
