Dionte Ware Recruiting Update
Cleveland junior Dionte Ware (PrepHoops #14 in 2019) earned one of the very first PrepHoopsTN recruiting updates. Just a month after the website launched Dionte Ware’s DI recruiting news adorned the front page.
In the intervening months, Ware’s Cleveland High School team blitzed through the regular season, lost prematurely in the playoffs, and then Ware joined the Tennessee Tigers 17u.
Considering the evaluations conducted of Ware in September 2017, his breadth of college interest should be fanning out deliciously now. It is.
Earlier this month Wofford reached out, pertaining to Dionte Ware, to Tennessee Tiger Founder and 17u Head Coach Chip Smith.

Reached directly, Ware also mentioned Wofford College.
“I’m going to a camp this summer for (Wofford),” shared Dionte Ware. “Interest from Elon (NC), ETSU, Northern Kentucky, and N.C. State.”

Cleveland High Assistant Coach Reggie Tucker also gets a great deal of contact about the Cleveland scoring junior Dionte Ware. Coach Tucker helped promote the talented Ware and together they pulled in the following offers: Canisius, James Madison, Arkansas State, Chattanooga, Montevallo (DII).
Remember North Carolina State hosted Dionte last year. Lipscomb, UNC-Greensboro, Wichita State, UCF, Middle Tennessee, Creighton, Coastal Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Furman each expressed interest in Dionte Ware.
Clemson is the first ACC school to show Dionte some love. Will they offer?
