Big Shots Greensboro Final Notes
Carolina Wolves 2019 Forward Trevon Spencer: Long, athletic, coachable, are all attributes that you like to hear about a prospect and they are all true about Trevon Spencer. He’s been coached hard at the high school level and it translates over to his AAU team as he doesn’t mind taking criticism and fixes whatever he is doing wrong very quickly.
Carolina Wolves 2019 Forward Andrew Carroll: Does a nice job of playing the role that his team needs him to play and finding his offense within the flow of the team, He didn’t take any wild shots, made good decisions and did a nice job on his man defensively.
Team Explosion 2019 Wing Adam Davidson: Does a nice job at the wing position for his squad, he moves well without the ball, knocks down shots when he’s open and swings it to the open man when he’s covered. He is the type of the player that we could see transitioning to the next level simply based off the fact that he understand his role and plays to his strengths.
Defenders Elite 2018 Guard Isaiah Abbott: What does he do well? He can put the ball in the bucket with ease, among other things. His 33 point performance vs Team Xplosion pretty much showed what makes him special, scoring at a high rate with solid efficiency is what he can do.
Olympus Elite 2019 Wing Aaron Estrada: He would help led his team to the Gold bracket Championship and take home MVP honors. A D1 prospect that has been hearing from numerous low and mid-major programs, the lefty has a smooth game with a lot of the tools that you like to see from a guard prospect. He is a legit 6’4 with a nice IQ and natural feel for the game, you may see him score but he can impact the game in many more ways than just putting the ball in the bucket.
Olympus Elite 2019 Forward Rynell Lawrence: Energy and activity were two of the attributes that stood out the most about this youngster. He rebounded the ball well on both ends of the floor, blocked shots and did a bit of everything that his team needed, solid overall showing.
