2019 Forwards/Centers to Track
The class of 2019 is another loaded class for North Carolina. The forwards and centers are fairly deep at the position and here is a look at some of the under the radar players to watch for.
6’10 William Onyeodi (Fayetteville Academy)-An up and coming prospect in the state, William is a strong player who is still raw but has a nice skillset. He brings a lot of energy and intensity to the floor, he has nice athletic ability and a gift for rebounding the ball.
(2nd from Left) Kadin Shedrick6’8 RJ Wilson (Leesville Road/)-Has a chance to be a special player before it’s all said and done, can play the wing or strecth forward position and be productive with his size and skillset. Nice ceiling of potential, knows what it takes to be apart of a winning team and culture.
6’8 Kadin Shedrick (Holly Springs/Garner Road)-Although he has a slender frame, he is comfortable with his back to the basket as well as facing up . Still somewhat raw but have very nice potential, once he adds some more upper body muscle to his frame his recruitment will rise without a doubt.
6’8 Josiah Shackleford (Ayden-Grifton)-Good size at the PF spot; strong rebounding ability; can attack the rim; gets a lot of buckets in the paint; able to shoot the 15ft jumper.
6’10 Derrick Quansah (Village Christian/Garner Road 2019)-Big and lean; good shot blocker and rebounder; able to get to the low post and get good position; skilled; good footwork.
6’10 Ben Beeker (Hendersonville/Team Loaded 704)-Skilled big man with a soft touch around the basket; runs the floor really well; long arms; blocks shots; alters shots; ability to stretch the floor.
6’10 Julien Stienfeld (Grace Christian)-6’10 with a nice skillset, there is a lot to like about what he brings to the table. One of the top rebounders in the state, he’s not hesitant about mixing it up inside at all.
6’7 Cyril Nesmith (Graham)-strong forward with great hands and feet; does a good job of getting posotion down low and running the floor.
