2018 College Commitments: DIII Colleges
The class of 2018 is finishing up here with really only a few names left out in the open but with the vast majority of the class already committed, we decided to take a look back at each level and those committed to see how the class has shaken out.

Breakdown: As it sits today, there are 41 known commitments with probably a handful more to come out within the next couple weeks. It’s a big class and for some a big game changers. Look for guys like Dontez Rayner (Adrian College), Nick Bowman (Trine), and Kellen Schreiber (Wabash College) to be the biggest early impact guys next year.
DIII programs usually take a load of kids in each class so the number of players to each school usually sits at 4-8. However, the winners in this class have to be Wabash College, Franklin College, and DePauw. Wabash picks up four in this class so far with Schreiber, Jayden Edwards, Jack Hegwood, and Evan Nichols as four big time pulls. Franklin landing Matt Krause was a solid get for them along with shooter Cameron Harris and Colin York. DePauw only has two known so far but Cole Jenkins is a floor general type that can change the tone of a program.
Indiana’s DIII programs are pretty strong but a lot of out of state programs will recruit hard in the Hoosier State. Adrian College has some strong ties here and Chicago also has their niche for some. Wittenberg and Denison aren’t usually in Indiana too much but they both pulled a key commit.
Overall, this class is pretty solid. Not as strong at the top as last year’s group but gives depth to some teams that haven’t been able to land the more talented players in previous classes. Could be some tone-setters in here for some schools and stars for others.
