Bijan Cortes 2021 Team Griffin Guard
When you look at Cortes, he does not strike you as a good basketball player. When you watch him play though, it is a completely different story. He can take it to any player and is to afraid to. He has good handles that allow him to create his own space but he can also hit a contested shot at the rim. Cortes also has an outside game which makes his game multi-dimensional. He can take over games and he just makes his teammates better.
Javon Grant 2021 Team Griffin Guard
Grant is a fast guard that runs the floor well. He does well taking the ball to the rim and does not shy away from contact. His speed allows him to get open and find the open shots. Grant attacks the basket and either finishes or gets fouled and he does a good job of converting his free throws when he gets them. Grant is a fun Guard to watch and gets crowds into the game when he inevitably makes a crazy and-1 shot.
A. Kennedy 2021 Spencer Cougars Guard
Kennedy played a heck of a game when his team faced Team Griffin. He did not shy away from the big game as he showed up. He was good at all three levels. He attacked the basket with vigor and forced his the other team to foul him or let him get the bucket. He can also got hot from downtown. He shot the ball well from deep and had good combination throughout the game making it hard to guard him. Kennedy is a player that can score points in bunches and can change a game for his team.
B. Wilson 2021 Spencer Cougars Guard
WIlson had a good first half for the Spencer Cougars. He shot the ball extremely well in the first half from all three levels. He is the type of player that can get hot and take over a game. He is a streaky shooter and hard to stop when his shot is falling for him.
Josh Price 2021 Oklahoma Power Guard
Josh is a fun player to watch. He is all about trying to make his team better and when he is on the court that is what he does. Josh has good vision and equalling good passing to find the open with great ball movement. He also can stroke it from deep. He caught fire from the perimeter as he drained trey after trey.He finished with five treys on the night. Josh can score in bunches because of how good of a shot that he is.
