In this column we take a look at some of the top prospects from the annual Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions in Atlanta, Georgia over the weekend.

Impressed with first half performance from 6’8, 2019 F Demond Robinson of Atlanta Express-big shoulders, wide frame, quick laterally, runs the floor, active on both ends and agile.

In a blowout, Upward Stars SE advance at Bob Gibbons, really love how hard CJ Felder plays. Goes hard every possession, skilled, can get to the rim and tries to tear it off.

Lance Terry Jr, with Atlanta XPress is a bouncy, smooth guard. Tough as nails. Played really strong in opening game of Gibbons.

Crosby James of Upward Stars Columbia is a blur with the ball in his hands. Causes the defense to make mistakes controlling him.

Corey Walker with 16 points for Game Elite Gold 2020 in a win over Georgia Kings. Physical, smooth shooter who can rebound and run the floor.

2020 guard Ahmad Maddox with 17 points for Georgia Kings. Tough-nosed guard that is quick, athletic, ability to score from all over the floor.

Dwon Odom-Good rebounder; pushes the ball in transition; strong handle; always looking when driving; strong finisher; quick to his spots; really tough with the ball; great transition vision; TCU, Xavier interest and Georgia offer recently.

6’8, F Josh Taylor of The Atlanta Celtics 16U-long; attacks rim; good timing; blocks shots; handles the ball well for size; good passer; Heard from Oklahoma State, Providence and Xavier recently.

Anthony Edwards-Big time perimeter scorer, great size and skill. 27 points for Atlanta XPress 16U.

Xavier is getting a terrific wing in Elias King. Long, smooth, causing a lot of problems defensively. Strong off the dribble and active. Shot it well today in OT win for Georgia Stars.

TJ Bickerstaff was a difference maker for Team Charlotte today in the win. Able to step out and knock down the 3-ball, can score off the dribble, blocks shots and rebounds.
