Prep Hoops made the trip down to Dallas to cover the Texas GASO this past weekend. Get our full report on the top Oklahoma shooters mixed in with some of out state guys.

Caleb Grill 2019 NLHA Wing

Grill is a certified sniper from three-point range. The quick trigger Grill has from deep makes him tough for defenders to close out on. It was easy to see how Grill already holds offers from Washington State, Colorado State, Weber State, UTRGV, Missouri State, and South Dakota State. That list is only going to grow with the shooting skills Grill possesses. The way he can get off his shot being able to create and also be featured as a catch and shoot guy. He was one of the most exciting players to watch at the GASO.

Jett Sternberger 2019 Game Changer Hoops Point Guard

Sternberger continues to be one of the top shooters in the state of Oklahoma. He was able to get going early on Saturday and never cooled off. Game Changer Hoops does a great job running Sternberger off of screens and different sets to get him open. When opponents gave Sternberger an inch of room he made them pay.

Jaxon Jones 2020 PlayMaker Express Guard

Jones is a good shooter. When his team finds him in a catch and shoot situation he normally knocks down the shot. When Jones has space he does not miss. Jones is a smart player and has good positioning. Jones is a solid  defender who can recognize when he needs to slide over and help. He has good rotation.

Hunter Hoggatt 2020 Gym Tim Hoops Wing

Hoggatt was impressive with his ability to score the basketball this weekend. The fast-paced start Hoggat has had this Spring has been fun to watch. He is entering the realm of one of the top small college projected prospects in the Oklahoma 2020 Class. The smooth shot of Hoggatt is impressive to see.

Brett Cunningham 2018 Oklahoma Impact Wing

Oklahoma Impact featured a lot of talented scorers this weekend one of which was Cunningham who was on fire from three-point range. Cunningham is still unsigned and weighing his small college options. He will be a good late get for the school that lands his talents. When he gets going he is very tough to slow down.

Deaunte Lee 2019 Dallas Showtyme Guard

Lee shot the ball lights out from downtown this weekend. He has a quick high release that looks a little funny. When the ball is his hands in catch and shoot situations with even the slightest opening he comes through from deep. Lee played with great confidence leading to one of his best weekends of the Spring.

Jayde Duncan 2020 PlayMaker Express Guard

Duncan is a streaky shooter that can get hot from downtown. He shoots well off the dribble. He creates his own space in order to get his shot off. When Duncan gets hot it is hard to stop him. His stroke has good form. He can also penetrate a defense to get off a mid-range shot.
