Top Rebounders at the Spring Kickoff
This list breaks down the top rebounders on Saturday at the Prep Hoops Spring Kickoff in Denver! The prospects on this list give great effort to bringing everything they have to grab rebounds.
Antwon Jackson 2019 Las Vegas Prospects Post
Jackson is a man inside making his presence known with strong rebounds on the defensive end. When in position, he also did a good job of securing boards and putbacks around the basket. Jackson was one of the best rebounders on the defensive end I saw all day.
Dalen Ridgnal 2019 KC Spurs Forward
Ridgnal brings great energy to the court at all times. He stands around 6’6 with great athleticism and a superb motor. Ridgnal was good on defense boxing out his opponents. The time people start to really notice just how well he rebounds the ball is on offense. Ridgnal is fantastic at finding ways around his opponent to the basketball.
Siler Tschirhart 2019 KC Spurs Post
Another weekend same story. Siler and his twin tower partner Dalen had their way on the boards coming up with big offensive and defensive rebounds. Tschirhart has the potential with a big summer to get NCAA Division I looks.
Matt Wheelock 2019 Billups Elite Forward
He is a stretch four that likes to float out to the perimeter on offense. When the time comes for him to be a Forward and rebound the basketball he gave a good effort and got the job done. The activity Wheelock showed was a major help for Billups on the boards.
Emmanuel Tshimanga 2019 Billups Elite Post
Tshimanga impressed me with his physicality at 6’10 the block. He made it his personal mission to dominate the boards every chance he got. The effort, strength, and toughness made him the best rebounder I saw today.
Brandon Clawson 2020 Pluto Prospects Forward
Clawson is a very active big on the boards. Standing at 6’7 with a skinny frame he is raw with a ton of upside. Clawson plays with great determination when going after the basketball.
Graham Ike 2020 Colorado Hawks Post
Ike is a raw talent that is starting to show some production on the court. The biggest area he excelled in was rebounding using his 6’7 size and frame. Ike still has a lot to work on in his game, but the potential is certainly there.
Tommy Crawford 2020 Boykins Basketball Academy Forward
Crawford is a Long lanky raw talent at the Forward spot. He stands around 6’6 in the paint. What he did best was crash the offensive boards as he did a great job finding the ball in the air. He attacks the ball doing everything he can.
Lucas Moerman 2020 Pluto Prospects Post
Moerman has been a man amongst boys this weekend on the boards. He crashed the boards on both ends of the floor using his size, frame, strength, and willpower to bring down rebounds. He has consistently been one of the best big men I have seen at the Spring Kickoff.
