The South Dakota Senior All State Team
The Senior All State Team in South Dakota. This is a special year for talent in South Dakota so this is truly the best of the best.
First Team
AJ Plitzuwiet of Vermillion. South Dakota’s best player who scored almost 34 points a game with 9.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and three steals a game.
Aaron Fiegen of Madison. The SDSU signed state champ put up 18.1 points per game with seven rebounds a night.
Lincoln Jordre of Sully Buttes. A Class B state champ who led his team with 20 points, just under ten boards, and three and a half blocks a game.
Trevor Hanson of Sioux Valley. Trevor averaged a double-double this year with 21.4 points, 10.5 rebounds, and a block and a half a game.
Dylan LeBrun of Flandreau. The state’s most explosive finisher scored 25.6 points per game with 11 rebounds and 4.3 assists a contest.
Second team
Mason Larson of Langford Area. Mason led Langford with 21.3 points a game and nine rebounds a contest.
Koln Oppold of SF Christian. Led his team to a 1-loss season with 13 points, six rebounds, and five assists a game.
Jaxon Janke of Madison. Jaxon finished the year a state champ with his 14.5 points and 7.5 rebounds a night.
Kailleb Walton-Blanden of RC Central. Scored 14 points a game with four rebounds and four assists a contest for one of Class AA’s best.
Jadon Janke of Madison. Scored 13.5 points a game with six rebounds an five assists for the state champs.
Third Team
Jack McCabe of Dakota Valley. McCabe was DV’s big shot maker and the leading scorer.
Brady Van Holland of Harrisburg. The key piece of the Harrisburg run scored 12 a game with four rebounds, three assists, and two steals a game.
Diang Gatluak of SF Lincoln. Gatluak led Lincoln with 15.5 points, six rebounds, and three steals.
Devin Eppard of Chester Area. Devin put together a 24.5 point per game season while also dishing out five assists with six rebounds a game.
Trevor Olson of Sioux Valley. Olson scored 20 points per game with 3.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds.
Jeffrey Schuch of Dell Rapids. Schuch had a 15 point and 12 rebound per game year plus blocked three shots a night.
Fourth Team
Cole Bergan of Aberdeen Central. Cole put up 15 points, five assists, and 7.6 rebounds a game.
Gus Reede of Abereen Roncalli. Gus used that great touch to score 21.7 points per contest with five rebounds.
Cooper Bowman of RC Stevens. Cooper scored 13 points a contest with five rebounds and five assists a night.
Peyton Zabel of Pierre. His team struggled by Peyton gave them everything he had with 20 points and 11 rebounds a night.
Connor Carlson of Canistota. Connor scored 17.5 points per game with 10 rebounds a nigh averaging a double-double.
Fifth Team
Jaron Zwagerman of SF O’Gorman. Jardon scored 17 points a contest with five rebounds a game.
Logan Uttecht of SF Washington. Logan gave his team 12.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and three steals a contest.
Jacob Howard of Sully Buttes. Another double-double averaging guy at 14 and 11 a contest for a state champ.
Kevin Peterson of Lower Brule. Kevin took his team to state averaging 17.3 points and 5.5 boards.
Cordel Menning of Corsica-Stickney. Cordel averaged a double double at 16 points and 10 rebounds a game.
Joe Sazue III of Crow Creek. Joe scored 24 points per game with seven rebounds a night.
