There are many areas and hotbeds of talent in the state and we want to take a little bit more of a microscope to them to see what the nuances of the state will produce in each class. This is our look at Region 3 in Central Indiana.

Breakdown: The class of 2019 in Central Indiana is really deep with a few guys at the DI level but many that will need to have successful summers to join them. There are a lot of guys in the 2nd and 3rd tiers that should move up but picking out who might be an unsuccessful task.
As for the depth at each level, here is our breakdown: Tier 1 (HM-MM): #1-6, Tier 2 (LM-DII): #7-18, Tier 3 (DII-NAIA): #19-40, Tier 4 (NAIA-DIII): #40-81
Looking at the breakdown, you can see that the top two tiers are solid but Northeast Indiana is better in that regard. The third tier is where it makes up for it. All the depth for the small school teams is in this tier. There are so many options for DII/NAIA/DIII teams but as we said, we fully expect players to move up levels and and there could be a ton of them. The first two live periods will do just that.
The depth is obvious, this is the part of the state that houses the most players so there is always going to be the most amount of depth here. I think in general terms, this area does have plenty of size and a lot of wing and forward options to make up for those other areas that don’t. It also has a lot of shooters in the class as well as athletes.
Those players we will be focusing on this summer for a few different reasons will be Armaan Franklin, Jakobie Robinson, Jalen Johnson, Myles Johnson, and Jaiquan Edwards. Franklin we want to see how he does at the highest level as he plays with Meanstreets. Robinson and Jalen Johnson could be high-end breakout players. Myles and Jaiquan are two guys we saw during the high school season that impressed and we want to see them in a different setting.
