Flight 22 Point Guard Jamel Carter: Carter played well throughout the weekend, doing what he does best, which is being a dual threat PG. He scored the ball at a nice level averaging 18 PPG but also had nice assist numbers, as well playing solid defense throughout, look for him to continue to have a nice spring and summer season for Flight 22 16U.
Flight 22 Forward Travon Jackson: Athletic ability, rebounding and a high motor is what you will get from this young man, he pretty brought that role for the Northwood Temple squad this season. Although he isn’t the normal size for what you would see in a forward, he makes up for it with how he plays the game.
Ballers U Guard Lorenzo Minter: The best overall prospect on his team, he did a little of everything to try and help his team win games. He scored the ball, rebounded, defended, found teammates, and gave leadership consistently, he caught the attention of some college coaches in attendance for sure.
Ballers U Forward Ezekial Edwards: There are still some areas of the game where he will need to work to fully perfect his craft but overall he did some good things for his team. One of those things was the level of energy he played with, as well as rebounding the ball at a solid rate.
WBC Elite Wing Mikai Stanley: It’s always impressive to see a player that is under 6’4 that’s able to be a double/double machine like this youngster. His averages of 10 points and 10 rebounds per game along with his ability to defend multiple positions helps the squad and makes him a player you want to have on your squad.
Low Country Elite Guard Dameon Brown: One of the better scorers that took the floor at the event, he finds ways to simply put the ball in the bucket. He can get to the basket using his speed as well as knock down shots which was on full display.
SC Tigers Dajon Townsend: Was instrumental in each of the wins that the team was able to secure, one of the attributes that impressed me about him was his ability to find teammates. Although he showed that he can score the ball at a nice rate, he didn’t allow himself to be one dimensional which helped his team win games.
