Saturday Stock Risers at the Route 66 Kickoff
Jacob Germany 2019 Team Griffin EYBL Post
Germany has stepped up his game. He played well for Griffin scoring in the paint through some contact. He was a beast on the boards coming down with the majority of the rebounds. He could not be stopped on the boards getting good position and using his 6’10 frame to his advantage.
Kenny Foster 2019 Colorado Hawks Guard
Foster played well for the Colorado Hawks. He is a good-sized Guard with a solid stroke that knocks down a good majority of his shots. Foster has a good work ethic and played solid defense throughout the day. Foster is not a flashy player, but he has good fundamentals along with a solid skill set.
Brennan Burns 2020 RSE Select Guard
Burn led his team to a dramatic 4OT win (Yes that is not a typo, 4OT). Burn was a scoring machine for his RSE select team. He performed at all three levels very well and scored the ball at will in the second half. He is a good slasher and he either finishes at the rim or gets fouled in the process. Burns even showed a touch from the perimeter to complete his all-around game.
D. Carter 2020 Colorado Hawks 16U Guard
Carter can shoot the ball. Carter hit multiple three’s on the day as he competed well throughout the day. He did a good job attacking the rim and getting fouled. He played to his strengths because he knew he was an excellent free throw shooter. He only missed one from the charity stripe the whole day.
S. Faulkner 2020 Oklahoma Hoops Guard
Faulkner caught fire from deep today as he was raining three’s throughout the day. He was instrumental in his teams win against the Oklahoma Wolfpack 2020. He carried the load as he was consistent throughout the game. He had ten points in the first half and ten points in the second half. He found stroke from behind the arc hitting 4 three’s in one game.
Legend Barnett 2019 Dallas Showtyme Elite Guard
Legend lived up to his name. He played a good game and played with a lot of swagger. He has a lot of confidence in his game and it showed throughout the game. He found ways to get off his shot and it went down. He had a clutch factor to his game as he hit big shots down the stretch. Barnett had good handles that created space for him to hit his shots. He also had good vision to find his teammate for the open shot.
