Woodrow Wilson standout Ricky Lindo will prep into 2019 at Northfield Mount Hermon, a NEPSAC Class AAA school in Massachusetts. The versatile 6-foot-8 wing, who says he enjoyed his visit the school, plans to go back during the summer. Lindo was being touted by several high academic division one programs as a 2018 prospect, but he mentioned some new programs that have recently reached out.
“I hear from all the Ivy league schools really,” Lindo stated. “And recently getting a lot of calls from schools like Wichita State, Dayton, Vanderbilt, DePaul and schools like that recently. A lot of coaches are coming down to Dallas to see me.”

Lindo will travel to UAA Session 1 in Dallas with DC Premier 17U this weekend. There is no doubt that several high major programs will be keeping close track of him during the first live period. Which schools are recruiting Lindo most actively at this very moment?
“Mount St. Mary’s,” he said. “I talked to Harvard a couple times. Princeton, U Penn. Wichita State recently.”
Lindo doesn’t expect to come to a decision soon. But he did touch briefly on the type of school he is considering.
“A school where I fit, and I can improve my skills both on and off the court.”
What are Lindo’s goals for the spring and summer?
“My goals are to get better, get as much exposure as I can, and get ready for next year.”
What can he bring to a college program?
“A lot of versatility. I can play the 1 through the 4. I can shoot handle the ball, play defense, rebound. All that.”
Ricky Lindo is currently ranked as a top-25 prospect in the local class of 2018. To view the full ranking of Maryland and DC’s 2018 class, click here.
