Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at several players who recently made college commitments.

Rashaan Collins, 5’9, PG, 2018, Prep Hoops

Collins recently committed to play at NCAA Division II Lincoln in Jefferson City. He is a talented guard with elite speed, quickness and athleticism. He can get to the bucket, score in a variety of ways and is a consummate playmaker, able to create plays for himself and teammates.

Kaden Evans, 6’3, G, 2018, Oak Park

A talented shooter, Evans improved his all-around game as a senior and developed into a standout passer and playmaker. He shows terrific form, balance and range on his outside shot and combines that talent with the ability to lead a team. He recently committed to play at Southwestern Minnesota State.

Robbie Hanson, 6’2, SG, 2018, Liberty North

Hanson is one of two Liberty North players to commit to Johnson County CC and one of three players in the Eagles’ senior class to commit to a college basketball program. Hanson is coming off a senior season in which he averaged 12 points and 2.5 assists per game.

Micah Hughes, 6’4, G, 2018, Liberty North

Recently announced his commitment to Johnson County CC after averaging 8.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. He is a strong guard with a good, all-around inside-outside game who has the potential to be a terrific defender at the next level.

RJ Lawrence, 6’0, G, 2018, Blue Springs

Pittsburg State recruit is a talented guard capable of creating off the bounce, getting to the basket and knocking down deep 3-pointers. He averaged 22 points, 5 assists and two steals per game for Blue Springs.

Xavier Rhodes, 6’1, G, 2018, Rockhurst

One of the KC area’s premier guards, Rhodes committed to Northwest Missouri State on March 26≥ Rhodes has a smooth game, is able to get to the basket and is an electric finisher in traffic. He is a good leader, ball handler and can play the point. He’s one of the better pick-ups for a college programs in the region this offseason.

Jake Thompson, 6’0, G, 2018, Rockhurst

Was the most recent commit on this list as he joins a terrific local recruiting class for Benedictine as the latest player from the KC area to join the Ravens. He is a skilled guard with the ability to handle the ball, make plays and can shoot from the perimeter.
