Program Preview: Illinois T-Wolves
This weekend the Illinois T-Wolves will ascend upon Minneapolis for the Prep Hoops Proving Grounds LIVE event. The 15U and 16U squads will both be entered in the event.
15U
The biggest strength of the 15U Illinois T-Wolves is their ability to shoot the basketball at a high level.
Jadien Lee 2021 Guard– Lee is a very explosive scorer that can score from anywhere. He has posted three games of 20 or more points.
Corean Ross 2021 Guard– Ross is another scorer that can score from anywhere. Plus he is a lockdown defender.
Cameron Mallory 2021 Wing– Mallory is a slasher that can shoot the ball very well. He played at the varsity level at Lockport this past season giving him a great level of experience.
Ashawn Burbridge 2021 Post– Burbridge is a post player that is efficient in the paint. He does a little bit of everything for the Illinois T-Wolves. He is best on the boards.
16U
The 16U squad takes pride in playing tough defense. They also have several talented Guards that can fill it up.
Christopher Skinner 2020 Guard– Skinner leads the way for a talented squad. The offensive skill set Skinner has is impressive with his ability to score from anywhere. Another thing that sticks out about Skinner is he does not mind being coached!
Shawn Ratliff 2020 Point Guard– Ratliff is really developing into nice Point Guard. He plays hard on both ends of the court pushing himself to get better on the court. Ratliff is a pass-first Point Guard that can attack the basket he also plays good defense.
Tyrell Ross-Childs 2020 Wing– He is a player to watch with the ball in his hands. Ross-Childs is another player that does it all for the Illinois T-Wolves. He can shoot, take it to the basket, and can play inside out. Ross-Childs is an explosive player that can handle the ball.
